The Saints filled two open spots on their practice squad on Thursday by signing fullback Toben Opurum and receiver Willie Snead IV.
Opurum is taking the spot of released practice squad fullback Michael Zordich. Snead is taking a spot created by the promotion of receiver Seantavius Jones from the practice squad to the Saints’ active roster on Thursday.
Jones was promoted after receiver Joseph Morgan was cut on Tuesday.
Snead made the NFL this year out of Ball State as an undrafted rookie for the Browns. He’s also been on Carolina’s practice squad but had been terminated from it when he arrived in New Orleans.
Opurum entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie out of Kansas in 2013. He spent time in Kansas City and Houston before joining New Orleans.
